Max George almost drowned in a Hollywood hot tub whilst drunk.
The singer and his bandmates - Nathan Sykes, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran - had enjoyed a night of partying during their time in Los Angeles filming their reality TV show 'The Wanted Life' when the night got messy.
Intoxicated Max stripped down and jumped into the hot tub at their mansion without realising what he was doing and got into trouble, but luckily a cameraman pulled him out.
Max, 24, told the Daily Star newspaper: "I went under water in the middle of the night in the hot tub and didn't know. I owe a massive thank you to our night cameraman - he actually saved my life.
Nathan also saw what Max was doing but was not strong enough to pull Max out of the water himself.
Max added: "He just was not strong enough to pick me up. But he did help drag my naked, wrinkled body out!
"It wasn't that we were weren't aware we were being filmed, we were so intoxicated we didn't care."
The Wanted boys had many wild nights in the £30,000-a-month, seven bedroom mansion, and they left the property in such a bad state they were fined £10,000 when they left.
The 'Walks Like Rihanna' hitmakers had numerous parties and damaged the décor, didn't clean the Jacuzzi, pulled tiles off the walls and didn't tidy up properly for the three months they lived there.
Siva told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "They did charge us up the wall for messing up the tiles."
Nathan added: "They had to drain the Jacuzzi - completely drain it. And there was a rim of scum along the top of the water on the leather interiors," continues Siva. "When they emptied it out, the stain didn't come out, so they charged us for that. It was £10,000 in total."
