The 45-year-old star - who has seven-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony - has confessed that while she found it easy to relate to the feelings a mother would have if they were to lose their child, it was also an emotionally-draining experience.

Speaking about lending her vocals to the upcoming animated film 'Home', she said: "It was almost too easy for me to do this voice for the movie, it is a small part but it's about being distraught trying to find her child. It was easy for me to think about how that would feel. So I was super emotional through it all."

The 'On the Floor' hitmaker, who plays a mother named Lucy who becomes separated from her young daughter in the movie, also admitted she found it exciting working on a film her children will be able to watch.

She added to HollywoodLife.com: "It was wonderful to work on the song and to work on it for the film was great! With it being a kid's movie and my kids being able to see it and having them be so into it is the best thing about it."
