Kanye West's longtime collaborator Rhymefest says the rapper needs "spiritual and mental help".

Che 'Rhymefest' Smith - who co-wrote tracks including 'New Slaves' and 'Jesus Walks' with Kanye - has revealed that he has stopped working with him and is worried after his recent outbursts, including a barrage of controversial tweets.
When one Twitter user wrote: "I wish @RHYMEFEST was co-writer of #KanyeWest 's Twitter & media statements. Worked with the music, should work with the other stuff, right?", Rhymefest replied by saying: "my brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal (sic)."
He added: "I love my brother. I pray for his health not our entertainment (sic)."
Another fan wrote: "plz start back writing Kanye's lyrics" to which the rapper replied: "nah his mind and spirit isn't right (sic)."
And Rhymefest defended himself against accusations that he is merely a disgruntled former colleague.
One Twitter user wrote: "All I'm reading is 'Nah he doesn't want to work with me anymore so now I'm salty'" but Rhymefest replied: "OK if that's what you're reading lol, but honestly I just left last month. Ah &peep me at my Grammy nomination Tues (sic)."
Kanye recently engaged in a Twitter feud with Wiz Khalifa and revealed his new song 'Famous' which includes the lyrics "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex . . . I made that bitch famous."
The lines are a reference to the outrage after he stormed on stage and interrupting Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
