The 41-year-old star sent bottles of her King St. Vodka along with cranberry and sage flavoured tonic from Cann, which has been dubbed the "fastest growing THC-infused beverage to date".

Kris Jenner, Molly Sims and Elle Fanning were just some of Kate's famous friends to receive the alcoholic beverage and associated mixer, the New York Post's Page Six column revealed.

Kate named her vodka after her former family home on King Street in New York City.

She said: "I have always found the spirits industry fascinating, and I love Dirty Vodka Martinis. The creative side of me thought it would be a fun challenge to develop a vodka for my palate, and in a beautiful package that I would love to have on my bar and share with friends. I am now looking forward to the challenge of building a brand in an entirely new industry."

And Kate wanted to have one of the only women-led vodka brands.

She added: "After a particularly long day, I decided to host an impromptu cocktail party for my closest friends. As I prepared to whip up a batch of dirty vodka martinis I surveyed my bar, but I wasn’t 100% happy with my options. Then I wondered, 'Are any of these vodkas founded by women?' I did some research, they weren’t. So, I decided to make my own just the way I like it."

Cann itself has a number of celebrity investors including Rebel Wilson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ruby Rose as well as Tove Lo and Darren Criss.
