Ke$ha has vowed to be "better than ever" when she returns.

The 'Timber' star checked into rehab earlier this month to seek help for anorexia and bulimia, and has today (21.01.14) thanked fans for their support and vowed to return soon.

A post on her Twitter page, written by a friend, read: "she says "THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I'm overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I'll be back soon and better than ever (sic)"

Another post added: "ohhh and she can't believe Timber is still number one! "Fck YEAH animals! PARTY ON!!!!" (sic)"

The 'Tik Tok' singer's mother, Pebe Sebert, said earlier this week her daughter's condition was so bad, she almost died.

Pebe said: "I've watched my beautiful, self-confident, brilliant daughter be berated and ridiculed for her looks and weight to the point that she almost died.

"The doctors told me her blood pressure and sodium levels were so low, they'd never seen it that low except with someone who'd had a heart attack or stroke. They said it was a miracle she hadn't already dropped dead on stage."

Pebe - who also checked into the Timberline Knolls clinic alongside her daughter to deal with the stress of the situation - said the 26-year-old star is now focused on her recovery and isn't even worried about what the future holds for her career.

She added: "At this point, she doesn't care if she ever makes a record again. She just wants to be healthy and happy."
