Kesha has declared her "love" for Taylor Swift, following the $250,000 donation she made to help her fight her legal battle with Dr. Luke.

The 28-year-old singer was devastated after a court recently ruled that she must abide by her contract with the producer, despite her claims he sexually abused her, and the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker was one of the first stars to back her cause by offering the huge lump sum.

Asked how she felt about Taylor's actions, Kesha told TMZ: "Of course, I love Taylor Swift."

The 'Tik Tok' hitmaker also added: "My fans are my everything."

Kesha has also recorded a thank-you song and dedicated it to her fans and everyone who "has had" her "back", which was tweeted by her lawyer Mark Geragos.

In the short video, the blonde beauty can be heard singing: "I don't know what I would do, without you. I don't know where I would be."

The gesture follows the actions of a string of celebrities who have supported her in the press.

British songstress Adele used her acceptance speech when she picked up the British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards on Wednesday (24.02.16) and said "I'd like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha," while Demi Lovato also raised the topic on Twitter following Taylor's donation.

And one of Kesha's most high profile supporters has been Lady Gaga.

The 'Poker Face' hitmaker says the star will be "affected for the rest of her life" by the alleged abuse and wrote on Instagram: "This is the most upsetting part for me. That the very reason women don't speak up for years is the fear no one will believe them of their abuser has threatened their life of their loved ones/livelihood in order to keep their victim quiet and under their control.

"What happened to Kesha has happened to many female artists including myself and it will affect her for the rest of her life."

She also appealed for an end to "victim shaming" with her message.

Gaga - who was raped when she was 19 - captioned the post: "Listen and Love. #stopvictimshaming."

Luke has vehemently denied the singer's allegations against him.
