The 28-year-old singer's lawyer Mark Geragos tweeted a video of Kesha - who was devastated after a court recently ruled that she must abide by her contract with producer Dr. Luke, despite her claims he sexually abused her - singing, with the message: "A special thanks to everyone who has had her back."

In the short video, Kesha can be heard singing: "I don't know what I would do, without you. I don't know where I would be."

One of Kesha's most high profile supporters is Lady Gaga, who says the star will be "affected for the rest of her life" by the alleged abuse.

She posted a screenshot on Instagram of her reply to one of her followers in an earlier post which read: "This is the most upsetting part for me. That the very reason women don't speak up for years is the fear no one will believe them of their abuser has threatened their life of their loved ones/livelihood in order to keep their victim quiet and under their control.

"What happened to Kesha has happened to many female artists including myself and it will affect her for the rest of her life."

The 'Poker Face' singer appealed for an end to "victim shaming" with her message.

Gaga - who was raped when she was 19 - captioned the post: "Listen and Love. #stopvictimshaming."

Luke has vehemently denied the singer's allegations against him.
