Kevin Richardson's wife has given birth to the couple's second child.
The Backstreet Boys singer and wife Kristin Kay Willits - who already have a six-year-old son Mason together - have announced the arrival of their second son Maxwell.
Kevin wrote on Facebook: "Special delivery! Another Richardson boy ... At 3.05am Wednesday morning (7/10/13), Maxwell Haze Richardson decided to join the party. He is a stout 9lbs 8 0z./23 inches long. Love! Love! Love! (sic)."
Kevin's bandmates Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean are overjoyed with the new arrival and couldn't wait to share the news with fans.
A message on the official Backstreet Boys Twitter account, says: "HUGE Congrats to the Richardson family! We've got a new Backstreet Boy on our hands :) Can't wait to meet ya Maxwell! @kevinrichardson (sic)."
Kevin departed the group in 2006, but reunited with them to record new music in London last summer.
Discussing Kevin's return, a source previously said: "Kevin missed the rest of the guys, who he counts as brothers as well as bandmates, and felt now was the right time to return."
