The 41-year-old actor recently won the award for Best Actor in a Television Series - Drama at the Golden Globes for 'Succession' - but Kieran is keeping his gong in an unusual place at home.

The actor - who has Wilder Wolf, two, and Kinsey Sioux, four, with his wife Jazz Charton - told Variety on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles: "My kids have these two little stuffies of Bert and Ernie, so the Globe is currently between Bert and Ernie."

Kieran later explained why a Big Bird animal hasn't joined the collection.

The actor - who appeared on the red carpet alongside his wife - joked: "The problem with the Big Bird stuffie is he's the same size as all the others. Grover, Elmo, you got all of them. They're all the same size and I wanted to get a Big Bird, but it's not big."

Meanwhile, Kieran previously admitted that he sees fatherhood as his number one priority in life.

The actor - who played Roman Roy on the hit HBO series - revealed that he loves to spend time at home with his wife and kids.

He told Esquire magazine: "I feel like what I’m supposed to do is be a stay-at-home dad. That’s where I feel like I’m the most me. And anything that takes me away from that is wrong."

Kieran also revealed that he would be happy to step away from the spotlight after he finished shooting 'Succession'.

The TV star - who is the younger brother of actor Macaulay Culkin - said: "I would like there to be nothing for a little while."
