The 38-year-old reality star initially thought the 24-year-old hunk "hated" her and her younger sister when they met in a club in Paris in October 2016, but when she confronted him about his rudeness, they quickly got together.

Speaking on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians', her sister Khloe Kardashian asked: "You met him in Paris when you were with Kim for fashion week?"

Kourtney replied: "Yeah, we like walked into a bar and Stephanie [Sheppard] was across from me and she kept going, 'This guy's cute over here.'

"He was friends with our friends. He would walk in, say hi, shake hands with like our security or whatever, but like not say hi to us. And then I was like, 'Why do you hate us?' I was just drunk. Once I said that he literally like grabbed my hand and was like, 'It's five in the morning. We're leaving. And then next night Younes was like, 'Bring your ass here.' "

Asked if she likes him to be "aggressive", Kourtney said: "Yeah."

But when the pair arrived at a nightclub together, their evening was disrupted when Kourtney received a phone call to tell her about her 37-year-old sister's terrifying ordeal in their Paris apartment, which saw her tied up while armed thieves made off with millions of dollars worth of jewellery.

Younes - who was born in Algeria and splits his time living between Paris and New York - immediately vowed to do whatever he could to help.

Kourtney added: "And then when we walked into that club was when we went to the bathroom and got the phone call about Kim. So then the party was over. And then he was like, 'I'm not leaving you guys,' and he like had to translate everything."

Khloe said: "I heard Kim say he was the translator."

Elsewhere on the show, Kourtney insisted she's stopped worrying about the partying antics of her former partner Scott Disick, the father of her kids Mason, seven, Penelope, five, and two-year-old Reign, who she split from over two years ago.

She said: "The energy I put into him, I need to put into my kids and I need to distance myself. And just say, you know what, you as a 34-year-old father of three, you've got to know what to do at this point."
