Kris Jenner learned about her daughter's pregnancy through the news

The 68-year-old star has revealed that she first heard about her daughter's pregnancy while watching ABC News.

During the latest episode of 'The Kardashians', Kris explained: "I woke up, opened my eyes, and right in front of me because we had left the TV on the night before and woke up really early in the morning to see Kourtney holding a sign - and I thought I was being Punk’d. And then I realised it was the ABC News."

Kourtney, 44, announced her pregnancy to the world in June, when she held up a handwritten sign at Travis Barker’s Blink-182 show in Los Angeles.

The sign simply read: "Travis, I’m pregnant."

Kourtney - who married Travis in 2022 - has insisted that she didn't intend to keep her mom in the dark.

She said: "I just truly didn’t think to invite them to the Los Angeles concert, and didn’t think that they would care to come."

Kourtney announced the birth of her son, Rocky, in early November.

But prior to that, the brunette beauty praised her mom after she underwent emergency surgery in order to save her baby's life.

Kourtney - who also has Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, eight, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick - wrote on Instagram: "I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.

"As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.

"Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing. [prayer and heart emojis] (sic)"
