Kristen Stewart is looking forward to a lengthy break from acting to pursue some other creative interests.

Kristen Stewart is taking time off to "make s**t with her hands" after recently wrapping filming on 'Equals' and now looks forward to a lengthy break to pursue some other creative interests.

Kristen Stewart is taking time off to "make s**t with her hands".

She said: "I'm taking some time off because I've been working for two years.

"I'm an actor and that's my art form, and because I started that so young, I've always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create. I'm going to take so much time off.

"I'm going to buy a live-work space in downtown LA and I'm going to make some s**t with my hands. Literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago. I'm making a short film. I'm making a bunch of stuff. I don't know how I'll put it out. But I'm not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time."

One thing Kristen won't be doing during her time off is connecting with her fans on social media.

Quoted in USA Today newspaper as saying "What would I Tweet about? Who are you talking to? What are you saying? Imagine sitting here right now and thinking, 'That's a good thing to say to the world?' What? I can't even understand it."

Kristen is known for being uncomfortable in the spotlight but recently she has accepted that fame and the spotlight go together. Because she "loves work" so much, though she does wish her life could be more "normal".

Starting work as an actor very young, one thing that will stay with her is how she really loves her work. even hard work.

Stewart admits to being OK with the isolation and has to bring herself back at times realising it's not normal even a little weird but it gives her the opportunity to do what she loves.

Despite this she says "I do wish it was a bit more normal. Plans are just difficult. You have to be ready to change them any moment. If you walk into a place and there are weirdos there, you leave."
