Liza Minnelli is resting following back surgery.
The singer and actress is still in a California hospital after undergoing an operation for surgery on her lower spine - which she broke in a fall at home - but is said to be 'comfortable' and expected to make a full recovery.
She's now thanked fans for their messages and said in a statement: "I am overwhelmed with the amount of love and caring that has been sent my way from all over the world."
Expected to make a full recovery following the freak accident, Liza had previously explained how she got the break.
"I was picking up my dogs - and they jumped. And I got twisted and fell. I thought it's nothing. But it wasn't nothing. It became something. The operation's next week.
"After an X-ray, seems I busted it and have to have it fused.
"I broke my lower back. Remember a few years ago I was in a wheelchair because I had trouble with my spine? They operated on it then. Well, now, again. They'll have to fuse it."
