Maggie Gyllenhaal is obsessed with Twitter.
The 'White House Down' actress recently joined the micro blogging site and admitted it didn't take her long to get hooked.
She said: "I started tweeting. I've doing it for a few weeks weeks. I just flipped over into being a little obsessed with it. People started following me! People have been really, really nice. I was curious it and started to do it. Now I'm checking it to see what people say!"
When Maggie first joined Twitter at the end of May, she joked it was the perfect place for people to compliment her.
Maggie wrote in her first tweet: "Hi all - I'm going to try to start tweeting! I hope this can serve as a safe space for people to say really nice things about me :)"
While Maggie is currently starring in blockbuster 'White House Down' opposite Channing Tatum, it was recently announced that she is to return to the New York stage next year, taking the lead in 'The Village Bike', Penelope Skinner's comedy about a sexually frustrated pregnant woman.
Penelope said: "It has been in the offing since the beginning of the year but has taken a long time to tie down the dates. I'm a massive fan of Maggie's work. I've tried not to get too excited but it really is too exciting."
