Maisie Williams is set to star in the animated movie 'Early Man'.

The 19-year-old actress - who is known for her role as Arya Stark in 'Game of Thrones' - has joined the cast of Nick Park's upcoming film, and is set to provide the voice over to Goona in the production.

And the brunette beauty has been described as a "terrific actress" who is "no stranger" to being cast as "valiant heroines".

Speaking about Maisie's new role, Park said: "Maisie is a terrific actress, and she is of course no stranger to embodying a valiant heroine. I'm most excited to see her breathe life into Goona - I know she'll be the perfect ally to Eddie's Dug".

Maisie has praised the film's creator and has admitted working on the movie is a "dream come true".

She explained: "I'm a huge Aardman fan - having the chance to work with Nick Park is a dream come true, especially as I get to voice such a fantastic character as Goona. I can't wait for audiences to meet her."

Maisie will star alongside Eddie Redmayne, who will play the role of Dug and the 'Night Manager' actor, Tom Hiddleston, who will lend his vocals to Lord Nooth.

'Early Man' is set to hit cinemas on January 26, 2018.
