The 'Transformers' star admits she struggles with "mother's guilt" when she leaves her sons Noah, three, and Bodhi, two - who she has with ex Brian Austin Green - to go to work.

She said: "It's tough. You feel like a lot of mother's guilt, having to leave [your child] all the time and then at a certain point, I had to just release that and go, 'There are my kids, these souls came through me for a reason, they're gonna be bonded to me no matter what and this is a part of life. I have a job, I have to have a job.'

"So I'm doing better with it. But it's hard because you feel like that's where you're supposed to be and you're very torn, constantly."

And Zooey Deschanel, who was replaced by Megan in 'New Girl' whilst she was on maternity leave, thinks holding her little girl Elsie Otter, who she has with husband Jacob Pechenick, is the "best thing ever" and wishes she could do it every day rather than work.

She told E! News: "When you're holding your baby, you're like, 'I don't wanna go to work - this is like the best thing ever'.

"But it's nice, you know, I think, having a little girl, she knows her mommy works and I think that's a good thing."
