The 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch' actress played the title role in the hugely popular sitcom from 1996 to 2003 after getting her break as the lead in 'Clarissa Explains It All' between 1991 and 1994 when she was a teenager, but growing up on the sets means there are a lot of memories involved with looking back at that period of her career.

Melissa, now 41, told E! News: "It's like my childhood. All these things come up. It's almost like I should go to therapy before I watch these episodes or something."

It comes after news that the Sabrina Spellman character will be getting a Netflix reboot following the success of 'Riverdale', with Archie Comics looking to adapt 'The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' for the revamp.

Anyone hoping for Melissa to make an appearance in the new series more than two decades after she last went to the Other Realm will be disappointed though.

She said: "It's an Archie comic so the rights reverted from my company, Heartbreak Films, back to them.

"It's a totally different show... I think what they're doing is smart, doing the darker version. I think it's going to be more like Buffy the Vampire Slayer than the Sabrina that most people know."
