Nick Lachey has asked his fans to "pray" for him ahead of his 40th birthday.
The 98 Degrees star, who has a 14-month-old son, Camden, with his wife Vanessa, is throwing a huge bash to celebrate the milestone in style tomorrow (09.11.13).
He tweeted today (08.11.13): "Well, the 40th birthday weekend has officially begun! Pray for me.... Gonna be a big one! Going out in style. Goodbye 30's, you were fun!!"
Vanessa shares the same birthday as Nick and is turning 32 tomorrow but has planned a big party just for him.
Nick told Yahoo's Shine: "She's planning a big party. That's her kind of a sacrifice to give up a little bit of her birthday because it's such a milestone birthday to me."
The heartthrob, who was previously married to Jessica Simpson, isn't worried about getting older.
He said: "Honestly, 40, for a lot of people, feels like this midlife-crisis moment. I think I had a harder time turning 30 than I feel like I'm going to have turning 40."
He added: "I'm more settled. I have a family and everything just feels like it's in its right place. I think a lot of it is in your mind. I still feel young. Honestly, I think 40 is going to be the best decade of my life. I'm going into it with that mentality."
