The Oasis legend and his wife Sara MacDonald have two boys, Donovan, 13, and Sonny, 10, and the 'Some Might Say' hitmaker admits he'd rather spend time with the latter because he is a "good laugh".

Explaining just one of the differences between his two sons, Noel - who has a long-running feud with his younger brother and former bandmate Liam Gallagher - let slip that his youngest child is definitely, not maybe, his favourite child at the moment.

He said: "My other lad (Sonny), he’s always got his bedroom window open, no matter time of the year it is, his bedroom is f****ing freezing. I’m like, ‘Mate, it’s not f***ing good for me, so why don’t you shut your bedroom door so there isn’t a draft round the house.’

“His window is open all the time and he sleeps with no f***ing clothes on. The other fella sleeps with a hat on. Mad innit, how they’re both so different.

“But I don’t worry about that lad (Sonny), he’s my favourite at the minute, I’m having a good laugh with him at the moment."

Noel - who also has 21-year-old daughter Anais with his ex-wife Meg Matthews - finds his oldest kid Donovan and his teenage friends to be annoying and it perplexes him when they hang out together all they do is stare at their smart phones.

Chatting on the Matt Morgan podcast, he said: "This is a sad indictment of the times, but it was raining the other weekend so we were in, my eldest Donovan has got a load of his mates round, like six of them, and they’ll sat in the kitchen on their phones, not looking at each other.

“There’s some s*** music on in the background, which can only be described as urban, and they’re all sat round on their phones, going, ‘Look at this, I’ve just sent you something.’

“I don’t talk to them, they get on my nerves.

“When they’d gone, no word of a lie, the house smelt like there had been dogs in it. My whole house smelt of dogs for about 10 minutes after they left, smelly b******s.”
