The Years & Years frontman, whose fans have even setup their own bum appreciation profiles for the singer, took to Twitter on Sunday night (26.11.17) to share with his 198,000 followers just how much he admires his own backside.

In a series of tweets, he wrote: "Sorry but i love my butt ... just takin pictures of my butt and being like yes butt !!! I like you! ... Yeah because 8pm on a Sunday is prime album making time no it's taking pictures of your butt time (sic)"

However, when one of his fans suggested he could have spent his evening more productively by working on the band's eagerly-awaited follow-up to 2015's 'Communion', the former 'Skins' actor said he'd rather be photographing his behind than writing songs.

He replied: "Yeah because 8pm on a Sunday is prime album making time no it's taking pictures of your butt time (sic)"

The electronica pop trio - completed by bass guitarist Mikey Goldsworthy and keyboardist Emre Türkmen - haven't released new music since 'Communion', which was the fastest-selling debut album of the year from a UK signed band.

However, Olly reassured his fans in May that a second record is on the way, but playing the new 'Zelda' video game on Nintendo Switch was taking up precious recording time.

He confessed: "The new album is being made. It's in the process. We are going to get it done. I can't get a word in. We are currently playing the new 'Zelda' game which is amazing. We are just playing 'Zelda' and playing music at the same time. But we are just in the process of getting it together. It's very different than the previous album but that's all I can say."
