Kelly Osbourne has hailed the impact of Ozempic

The 39-year-old star has voiced her approval for the drug - which can be used to treat type 2 diabetes and support weight-loss - and Kelly has suggested that it's a relatively easy way to shed excess weight.

She told E! News: "I think it's amazing. There are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it through something that's isn't as boring as working out?"

Kelly acknowledged that the drug is currently "very expensive" - but she's convinced that it will eventually become normalised.

The TV star - who has struggled with her weight for years - said: "Unfortunately, right now it's something that is very expensive but it eventually won't be because it actually works."

Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly's mom, recently revealed that she has no regrets about taking Ozempic.

The 71-year-old star actually lost 40lbs after she started taking the weight-loss drug, and she doesn't have any regrets about using it.

She told ITV’s 'Loose Women': "I don’t regret it. Everything with weight with me was, ‘I want it now.’

"The injections that I was on worked, but it just seems that now I can’t put anything on really."

By contrast, Sharon suggested in 2023 that she regretted turning to the weight-loss drug.

The veteran TV star - who is married to musician Ozzy Osbourne - also revealed that her weight dropped to below 100lbs at one point in time.

Speaking to the Daily Mail newspaper about her transformation, Sharon admitted: "I’m too gaunt, and I can’t put any weight on. I want to because I feel I’m too skinny. I’m under 100lbs, and I don’t want to be.

"Be careful what you wish for."
