Ozzy Osbourne goes to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings with his son.

The Black Sabbath rocker has struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for decades but has now been sober for 18 months while son Jack, 28, has been sober for 11 years after overcoming his demons.

Jack told The Sunday Times newspaper: "I'm proud to say that, today, we're both in active recovery and we even go to the same meetings. We share something not a lot of fathers and sons share.

"Sure, it drove us apart when I was sober and he wasn't, or he was sober and I wasn't ... [But] I can honestly say we are now the best of friends."

However, Jack - who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis two years ago - is worried Ozzy could relapse.

He explained: "Yeah, I'm concerned for him, like any son would be for their dad. He's in great condition but he's 65 years old ... If dad can stay sober, all the insecurities that have clouded his life will cease to exist."

And although Ozzy has confessed he regrets not being more of a father figure to his children, Jack insists he wasn't all bad.

He added: "Dad, there is so much about being a father that I learnt from you. You made me fearless and I hope I can do the same for my kids. Don't feel guilty about the past. It's gone, but we're still here. Dad...It's OK."
