The 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker's spouse recently admitted she has had a much harder time expecting her third child than when she was carrying their older kids, Millie, 10, and seven-year-old Theo, but the 50-year-old singer is doing all he can to be supportive.

He wrote in his column for new! magazine: "We’re a matter of months away from welcoming our newest family member – how exciting!

"Emily mentioned on 'Lorraine' that this has been her toughest pregnancy and I can assure you all, I’ve been looking after her. She is a trooper though.

"No matter how tough it gets, she just gets on with things but, as always, I’ll be sure to look out for her."

Emily, 34, recently admitted she had found her third pregnancy "a bit more challenging" than her previous two.

She said on 'Lorraine': "It's been harder, I would say. I don't know if it's just because I'm a little bit older, or because I've got two other kids that I'm running around after.

"It's definitely been a little bit more challenging, but I think that's to be expected. The more pregnancies you have, I guess, they get a bit more challenging, but I love it. It's such a precious time."

But the 34-year-old medic expressed her gratitude for her supportive husband, who also has Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, from his marriage to Katie Price.

She said: "He's so hands-on and he's making sure I don't carry anything and he's helping me up the stairs and all of those things."

The doctor recently spoke of how excited her children are to welcome another siblig into the world.

She told heat magazine: "They're so excited! Millie is really maternal and she's been bugging us for ages about having another baby.

"And the baby is moving all of the time, so they sit and feel the movements and get so excited."
