Pink has cancelled two tour dates due to a family medical crisis

The 44-year-old pop star has been touring North America since the summer with her Summer Carnival shows, but she's had to scrap a pair of concerts in Tacoma, Washington on October 17 and 18 after suffering an undisclosed family medical crisis.

A statement posted on her Instagram page read: "Tacoma shows postponed: I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed.

"Live Nation are working on future dates to reschedule. Family medical issues require our immediate attention. I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. I am sending nothing but love and health to all."

She added in a caption: "'I send my sincerest apologies, love and health to all."

The singer previously had to cancel a show in Arlington, Texas back in September after she was struck down with a sinus infection.

She told fans at the time: "I’m very sorry to report that I have come down with a bad sinus infection, and the doctor advised me not to perform tonight. I am so disappointed. You know I do everything in my power to never miss a show."

The cancelled show at the Globe Life Field has been rescheduled for November 26.

It will be the last stop on the North American leg of the tour. She will then resume the tour in February in Sydney, Australia.

She previously opened up about her love of life on the road in a post on Instagram during her tour in August. Pink wrote: "Here’s what I have to say about all of this. I’ll try to keep it short. I am a little fiery ball of gratitude catapulting around the world trying to spread love and truth and the courage to feel everything we can feel.

"I am full to the brim with real love for you all. I look at your faces and I see smiles and tears and wrinkles and laughter and real pain. And we get to share all of that together. And we have history, too. We’ve been doing this together for a while now.

"It means the world to me. It is never lost on me. We aren’t the cool kids, Thank God. We’re just gritty, magnificent humans, doing our best. Thank you for letting me in."
