The 'When Doves Cry' hitmaker was found dead at his Paisley Park estate, Minneapolis, last Thursday (21.04.16) aged 57, and several workers who were on the star's pay roll, including musicians, designers and stylists, will gather to remember his life.

Prince's protégée Sheila E. attended a private memorial service at his Paisley Park estate on Saturday (23.04.16), two days after his passing, and she is planning to pay tribute to her former employer by hosting a concert in his hometown.

Sources told New York Post's Page Six column that the show could also take place in other cities, including Detroit.

The 58-year-old drummer - who first worked with the late singer while he recorded his 1984 album 'Purple Rain' - is yet to set a date for her show but will include Prince's "original" collaborators.

She recently said: "I'm supposed to be the one musical director to put his tribute together with all of the original people and we hope that that happens.

"We're working on it, we'll see what happens... the plan is to have something here in Minneapolis."

While it is not known if Sheila will attend the staff reunion memorial, she admitted last Saturday's service was "very sombre" and "sad".

Graphic designer Lizz Frey, who worked with the music icon for a year in 1992, recently revealed Prince's staff were not allowed to make eye contact with him.

Speaking about his death, she said: "It brings back, always, a flood of memories of that time. He had a rule, and that was we were always to call him boss, and never to look into his eyes directly."
