Professor Green decided against splashing out on a big present for wife Millie Mackintosh on their first anniversary today (10.09.14).

The rapper took to his Instagram account to post a picture of the couple on their wedding day one year ago and joked he was quite pleased the first anniversary is traditionally known as the "paper anniversary" because he spent so much money on last year's nuptials.

In a message attached to a picture of the pair on their big day, he wrote: "1 year ago today. Weddings are expensive so it's quite fortunate the first wedding anniversary is the paper anniversary. Nuff love @camillamackintosh (sic)"

Pro - whose real name is Stephen Manderson - later took to his Twitter account to wish his beautiful wife a happy anniversary.

He tweeted: "This time last year I was putting the finishing touches to my wedding speech. Happy anniversary @millsmackintosh x (sic)"

Millie also took to the social networking site to talk about the couple's anniversary and admitted she was getting emotional recalling her big day.

She wrote: "Feeling very emotional remembering how I felt 1 year ago on my wedding day year ago and also because it's @MillieMClothing's launch! #11am (sic)"

Pro has been very busy of late preparing for his tour later this year, and he got the perfect piece of practice by performing for fans of his other love, Nando's chicken, when he jumped on top of Nando's festival food truck - the Cock o' Van - at Bestival on Sunday (07.09.14) as Skream's special guest.

The rapper stormed the Nando's Rule The Roost Stage to the surprise of several attendees.
