Richard Gere is selling his Hamptons Estate for $65 million.

The 63-year-old actor has put his 12,000 square-foot mansion, which features 12-bedrooms and 12-bathrooms with panoramic waterfront views, on the market.

The beautiful property, known as Strongheart Manor, has an undisclosed address in North Haven, New York City and includes a neutral coloured living area, large bedrooms with high ceilings and a spacious gourmet kitchen with numerous cupboards and a breakfast bar.

Outdoor space boasts well kept lawns, blooming gardens, a fireplace pavilion and a small pool.

The balconies, which look over the green, give great views of nearby lakes and small ponds in a tranquil setting.

According to Trulia.com, Richard originally bought a six-acre lot for $6.9 million in 2005 and two years later he splashed out $1.675 million for the adjacent plot.

The property, which was built in 1902, was then renovated and now includes an additional two guest homes.

The Hollywood actor, who believes in Buddhism, must use his tranquil surroundings to help him focus on personal spiritual development.
