The Beatles star tied the knot with wife Barbara Bach in 1981 and insists they are stronger than ever.

He told PEOPLE magazine: "There's no escape ... I think I love Barbara as much [today] as I did [when we met]. And I'm beyond blessed that she loves me and we're still together."

Meanwhile, as well as celebrating his personal milestones, the 75-year-old drummer was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and feels it was long overdue.

He explained previously: "It was about time. I was in there, as we all were, as the Beatles, but I was the last one to get in as a solo artist.

"Apart from that, I thought it was great. I thought it was a great honour -- thank you, Lord! -- for something I do really well, which is drum."

And Ringo is happy to share his successes with Twitter after he previously revealed he is "trying to move into the modern world".

He shared: "I am trying to move into the modern world. I love Twitter! I love it because some of them love me and some of them don't! But that doesn't bother me at all.

"Some of them are just miserable people who have got nothing better to do. And I'm still spreading peace and love."
