The Saturdays singer and husband Marvin Humes recently enjoyed a short break to Venice, and though they hated leaving two-year-old Alaia-Mai with her grandmother, the youngster had such a good time, she wants them to go away again.

She said: "I hate leaving her, it's either all of us out the country or one of us.

"But my mum stayed at our house and Alaia had the best time, she didn't want us to come back.

"She was like, 'Oh no, I'm busy with Nanny'. She went bowling, she went here, there and everywhere.

"I'm sure she had lots of chocolates that Mummy is a bit more strict on and she was like, 'When is Nanny staying again?'

"I was like, not for a little while, you had too much fun, I'm suspicious."

One of the advantages of going away without the tot was that the 27-year-old beauty was able to focus on remembering everything she needed for the trip.

She told Britain's OK! magazine: "Alaia always has more than she need and I've forgotten half my stuff [when we go away].

"I'll get to the airport and go, 'Oh I didn't bring my deodorant'. It's mad. It consumes your mind.

"I have to leave her suitcase out two weeks before we travel and I write a list. Obviously Marv doesn't get involved in her packing so I have to think about things like arm bands and floats."
