The 18-year-old actress and her professional partner Alan Bersten have been voted off the show, despite performing impressively during their last two routines, scoring 27 points out of a possible 30 for their cha cha and a perfect score for their Viennese waltz.

Earlier in the show, figure skater Johnny Weir and his dance partner Britt Stewart were the first couple to be eliminated after receiving the lowest marks from the judges.

Tyra Banks, the show's host, told the Johnny and Britt: "You know how hard they have worked. You guys have worked so hard this season. It's so sad to see you go."

Following Johnny's exit, the judges had to decide who would be sent home between Skai and actress Justina Machado, both of whom found themselves in the bottom three on the night.

Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba ultimately opted to save Justina, and although Bruno Tonioli wasn't needed to break a divided vote, he agreed with his colleagues.

He said: "We have to base our judgement over the season, and I agree with them. I love you both."

The latest round of eliminations means that the 'Dancing with the Stars' finale will feature Justina alongside Nelly, Nev Schulman and Kaitlyn Bristowe, who wowed the judges with an emotion-filled routine on Monday (16.11.20).

The 'Bachelorette' star dedicated her freestyle performance to her late best friend Lindsay, who died in a car accident while in high school.

Kaitlyn - who performed to 'Cowboy Take Me Away' by The Chicks - explained: "That song reminds me so much of my best friend growing up. Her name was Lindsay. She loved The Chicks and this was one of her favourite songs to put on.

"Fifteen years we were inseparable, but when I was 18 years old, she ended up tragically dying in a car accident."

Kaitlyn's performance left her feeling visibly emotional and also wowed the judges, as she was awarded a perfect score on the night.
