Ed Sheeran announces birth of second child
Taking to his Instagram account, world-renowned British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran announced that he had welcomed his second child into the world, with his wife Cherry Seaborn.
Posting just a picture of some baby socks for now, Sheeran said: "Want to let you all know we've had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her."
Sheeran has always been extremely private when it comes to his personal life, only sharing that he had tied the knot with Seaborn in 2019, without further detail. Their first daughter, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, was born in August 2020.
Anton Du Beke announced as permanent Strictly Come Dancing judge
Following the reports that Bruno Tonioli wouldn’t be making a return to Strictly Come Dancing in the UK so he could focus on Dancing With The Stars in the United States, it’s been revealed that Anton Du Beke will be permanently stepping in as a judge on the panel, following the positive reaction he got during 2021’s series.
The BBC tweeted the news, also revealing that all of the other judges from 2021's panel - Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse - would also be returning.
"Getting through the airport is not like it used to be," said Tonioli in a chat on The One Show last night (May 19th, 2022), saying that he "missed" the show very much but that Anton had "done a fantastic job" and "deserved" to be a judge.
Rihanna welcomes first child with A$AP Rocky
One of the world’s leading performers and designers, Rihanna, has given birth to a baby boy. The child is her first, shared with fellow musician A$AP Rocky and, comes after the two announced they were expecting in January of this year (2022).
Though neither Rihanna nor A$AP Rocky have confirmed the news just yet, reports broke on TMZ on Thursday (May 19th, 2022), saying that their first child was welcomed safely in Los Angeles last week, on May 13th.
Rihanna was last spotted in public on May 9th, for Mother's Day weekend in LA. We expect the two will break their silence on their new family addition very soon.
Dave crowned Songwriter of the Year at Ivor Novello 2022
This year's Ivor Novello Awards has celebrated Dave, naming him the Songwriter of the Year which is the performer's fourth Ivor across five years.
Dave did incredibly well with second album We're All Alone in This Together, getting three singles from the collection into the UK Top 10 and also co-writing Fredo's successful tracks Back to Basics and Money Talks.
Other winners on the night included Laura Mvula for Best Album, Naomi Kimpenu for Rising Star and, Sam Fender for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.
