Suranne Jones was "delighted" when she found out she's pregnant with her first child.

The 'Doctor Foster' actress announced her happy news at the National Television Awards in London last night (20.01.16) when she flaunted her burgeoning bump on the red carpet.
And, although she remained tight-lipped on details surrounding her pregnancy, she has admitted her and her husband Laurence Akers can't wait to meet their new baby.
Speaking backstage at the glamorous ceremony, she told BANG Showbiz: "Me and my husband are so thrilled. We've been married nearly a year-and-a-half now and what a wonderful way to move our marriage on and we're delighted."
However, this year looks set to be a busy one for the talented star, 37, as not only will she have a beautiful baby but she will also have to start filming the second series of the hit show.
The programme, which won best new drama at last night's ceremony, will see Suranne reprise her role as trusted GP Gemma Foster as well as take hold of the producing ropes.
She explained: "We start filming in September. It will be similar in set-up and will follow Gemma. I'm Associate Producer this year so the script isn't under lock and key this time. I'm part of the collaborative team this year."
