Tamara Ecclestone admitted she had to overcome her nerves for her nude Playboy photo shoot.

The 28-year-old socialite - who is the daughter of Formula 1 mogul Bernie Ecclestone - was happy to accept the offer to do a nude photo shoot for the iconic men's magazine and although she was hesitant at first she quickly became comfortable "whipping" her clothes off.

She said: "The first day, I was nervous, but by day three I was like, you've seen it all now, just whipping my clothes off.

"I am happy with my body and I want to celebrate that. My mum has seen it, and loves it, and so does my sister. I don't know if my dad has seen it or not, but I guess he knows about it, and he hasn't mentioned it."

Tamara - whose younger sister is Petra, 24 - has previously admitted she is "proud" of her naked centre fold and thinks it will be something to look back on when she gets older.

Tamara - who appeared on the front cover in nothing but a pair of heels, with her modesty protected by diamonds and a sprinkling of sparkling crystals - said: "I am so proud of this beautiful shoot. As a woman, I believe you have to embrace your body, and feel beautiful both inside and out.

"Playboy is so iconic, and for nearly 60 years, the magazine has featured some of the world's most beautiful women in its pages.

"I am extremely honoured to be part of this legacy as the magazine's May cover girl."

Some other shots in the eight-page spread in the May issue include her wearing a revealing backless black dress, which is cut so low you can see her pert rear.
