Tori Spelling admits she has made some bad financial decisions.

The 40-year-old actress, whose husband Dean McDermott recently played down reports they couldn't afford a vasectomy, insists she has no regrets about airing their problems in her new autobiography, 'Spelling It like It Is'.

The blonde star told 'The Talk' in Los Angeles on Wednesday (06.11.13): "It's all so individual, I think. And you have to put it within context. I wrote about it simply because I think sometimes people think celebrities' lives are so glamorous and so perfect. I was simply showing that I have made some bad choices financially. It happens! We're not above anyone else, we make bad choices and financially we get ourselves into holes. Things are good now."

Tori apologised to her husband, with whom she has four children, Liam, six, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and Finn, 13 months, for revealing they couldn't afford to get an expensive reversible vasectomy.

She said: "I just have to say, I love my husband. My poor husband, he's like, 'Why did you even write that? Now people are talking about my junk.' And I said, 'I'm sorry, babe.'"

"If you read the book, you will see that, within the story, it's a funny story that I talk about. We were just saying that at the time financially . . . a vasectomy is too expensive at the doctor we went to."

Tori also addressed rumours that she is planning to ink a deal with a pornography company to release a sex tape, which she and Dean made in 2009, after being offered a "substantial" amount of money.

She said: "No! Absolutely not. Give me some credit, I'm a mom of four."
