Tori Spelling has allegedly spent $10,000 on a holiday despite her financial troubles.
The 40-year-old actress and her husband Dean McDermott, who recently admitted they made "bad choices financially," are enjoying a luxury break with their four children, Liam, six, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and Finn, 13 months, for Thanksgiving.
The former 'Beverly Hills 90210' star has spent an estimated $10,000 on a long weekend trip to the five-star St. Regis Monarch Bay Resort in Dana Point, California.
A source said that the actress booked three rooms for the four-day holiday and also splashed out hundreds of dollars on the hotel's Thanksgiving buffet to celebrate the American holiday on Thursday (28.11.13).
Tori tweeted about her excitement ahead of the vacation on Wednesday (27.11.13), writing: "So excited 2get out of LA 4 #thanksgiving! Some quality family time, just Me, Dean, Jack, Liam, Stella, Hattie, & Finn. Packed up and on the road. (sic)"
Tori and Dean were recently forced to play down rumours they couldn't afford for him to undergo a vasectomy but she insisted she had no regrets about airing their financial problems in her new autobiography, 'Spelling It like It Is'.
She said: "I wrote about it simply because I think sometimes people think celebrities' lives are so glamorous and so perfect. I was simply showing that I have made some bad choices financially. It happens! We're not above anyone else, we make bad choices and financially we get ourselves into holes. Things are good now."
