Kevin Roper crashed into the vehicle carrying the former 'Saturday Night Live' star and his friends, seriously injuring the comedian and killing his friend.

James O'Neill of the District Attorney's office confirmed Roper was charged with first degree aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide, and eight counts of aggravated assault by a Middlesex County, New Jersey grand jury.

Tracy, 47, was in a coma for two weeks after the accident and said recently that his life would never be the same.

He shared: "You're never going to be normal after you go through something like that. You don't die for a few weeks and then come back to normal, trust me.

"Something's going to be missing, something's going to be gained - you just got to live your life after that. But after surviving something like that, I'm probably never going to feel normal."

Tracy also claimed he "went to the other side" while he was in a coma.

He explained: "This is not something I'm making up.

"Do you know what God said to me? He said, 'Your room ain't ready. I still got something for you to do.'"
