The third bloodthirsty instalment in the hugely successful Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Extinction, is released to buy on DVD, Blu-ray Disc and UMDTM Video and to rent on DVD from 18th February 2008.. Based on the hugely popular survival horror video games from Capcom, Resident Evil: Extinction picks up where the last film left off and finds our heroes drifting in a desolate world populated by blood-crazed zombies. Milla Jovovich (Fifth Element, Ultraviolet) resumes her role as Alice, the genetically altered zombie killer who continues her fight against the T Virus and the evil Umbrella Corporation from the dusty wilds of the Nevada Desert. Once again she is aided and abetted by Resident Evil veterans including Oded Fehr (Resident Evil: Apocalypse, The Mummy), Iain Glen (Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Kingdom of Heaven) and Mike Epps (Resident Evil: Apocalypse). Star of the hit TV series Heroes Ali Lartner (Final Destination) and RnB superstar Ashanti (Coach Carter) also join the cast.
