After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL-E discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks and looking after his pet cockroach) when he meets a sleek search robot named Eve.

EVve comes to realize that WALL-E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet’s future and races back to space to report her findings to the humans who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home.

Meanwhile, WALL-E chases Eve across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the screen.

Directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, A Bug’s Life), WALL-E is Disney Pixar’s ninth feature film, adding to their existing slate of well-loved family favourites including Ratatouille, The Incredibles and Toy Story.

The Blu-ray disc contains exclusive special features including a pop-up in-movie mode which pinpoints the many tongue-in-cheek references to other films, including nods to 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars, Rocky, ET and Toy Story.

The ‘Cine Explore’ feature includes the filmmakers’ insights on WALL-E with a peek behind the scenes. Viewers can also explore film’s most detailed and visually stunning locations in 3D with the ‘Hoverchair Quarterback’ function.

In addition, WALL-E on both Blu-ray and DVD includes the exclusive new Disney Pixar short, BURN-E, a selection of making-of featurettes and deleted scenes.
