Barkin and Perelman settle four-year-old film company dispute

Ellen Barkin and her ex-husband have settled an ongoing dispute with a film company that they co-founded.

The actress who stared in Sea of Love and Ron Perelman divorced in 2006 and have been battling over Applehead Pictures LLC ever since.

The company's bosses sued Perelman in 2007, claiming the Revlon Inc chairman failed to make promised payments to cover operating expenses.

Perelman was ordered to pay more than $4 million (£2.6 million) to the company last year, but he appealed the decision, which was upheld by an appeals court last month.

Perelman's lawyer has confirmed that the billionaire has settled the dispute. No details of the settlement have been released.
