Beyonce Knowles is reportedly in talks to turn the Sister Act stage musical into a movie.
Beyonce has asked her representatives to persuade Disney to develop the show into a film vehicle for her.
The Obsessed actress caught a performance of the hit theater show - based on the Whoopi Goldberg film of the same name - during her recent trip to London, and she was so taken by the performance, she's allegedly looking to remake it as a movie.
A source tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "Beyonce has asked her representatives to persuade Disney to develop the show into a film vehicle for her.
"If this comes to pass, she would take on, in musical form, the part Whoopi Goldberg created in the 1992 Sister Act film, although the stage version moves the action from the West Coast to Philadelphia."
Goldberg's movie was a huge commerical hit going on to gross over $192 million at the global box office.
Since stepping into acting Beyonce Knowles has found success were so many others have struggled with the likes of Dreamgirls under her belt.
Her last movie Obsessed, which teamed her with Idris Ebla, topped the U.S. box office.
