Camila Alves To Host TV Show

Matthew McConaughey's longtime girlfriend Camila Alves is set for TV stardom as the host of a new U.S. reality competition.
 
The Brazilian model and handbag designer, who announced she is expecting her second child with the actor in June (09), will host competitive hairstyling show Shear Genius.
 
The series is set to launch its third season in February (10) with Alves as its star. She replaces former host, veteran actress Jaclyn Smith.
 
McConaughey and Alves have been together since 2007.
 
It seems it's a good time to be close to the Sahara star - McConaughey is also working on a deal with Fox TV executives to turn his brother Rooster into a cartoon star.
 
Rooster Tales will chronicle the adventures of a beer-drinking sheriff, who marries a beautiful Mexican woman with an extended 114-member family.
