Chaz Bono has spoken out about genital reassignment surgery, as he considers having the operation after legally becoming a man last in 2010.
Chaz Bono, born Chastity Bono, was the only child to come from Sonny and Cher's relationship, and has long fought for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights.
After undergoing a number of surgerys to legally become a man, including breast removal and testosterone injections, Bono is still not convinced whether he should under go genital reassignment surgery. He says, "At this point... I don't really feel comfortable doing anything about it."
However, he's planning to attend an upcoming transgender medical conference in Georgia, where he plans to check out the latest advancements: "I'll be really interested to talk to some of the doctors to find out what's on the horizon."
