Daniel Dae Kim, star of Lost, has opened a restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The Counter launch brought the actor's Lost co-stars and celebrity pals out to the Kahala Mall on Monday night (30Mar09).
The project is a joint venture between Kim and restaurateur DK Kodama, who became friends after discovering their children were in the same class at a local school.
Unlike his Lost co-stars, Kim has always professed a love for the Hawaiian islands, and while many castmates will be fleeing for mainland America when the series ends in 2010, he's hoping to stay on Hawaii.
He says, "We’re giving serious consideration to staying here, at least through high school. It’s really great for family."
