Country singers Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have vowed to donate all proceeds from a forthcoming gig to help thos still affected by 2005's Hurricane Katrina. The husband and wife team, who are currently touring together with their Soul2Soul shows, will play a concert on Friday (27Jul07) in Biloxi, Mississippi and have pledged one hundred per cent of the money raised will go to the Neighbours Keeper Foundation. The charity, set up by Hill and McGraw in 2005, provides local services to those still badly affected by Hurricane Katrina, which hit in August that year.Last year (06), Mississippi native Hill and McGraw performed in New Orleans, raising $1 million (£500,000) for hurricane relief efforts. Faith Hill shot to fame in 1993 when her debut album Take Me As I Am took the number one spot in the Billboards. She went on to become the first female country singer in thirty years to hold the number one spot for four weeks.Her seond album It Matters to Me was released two years later and had similar success selling 3 million copies.Hill and McGraw met in 1996 when she supported him on tour. They married later that year and have three daughters Gracie Katherine, Maggie Elizabeth and Audrey Caroline.
