Halle Berry's ex wants to legally be named father to his daughter

Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry has asked a judge to declare him the father of the couple's daughter Nahla.
The Canadian model filed a paternity petition on 30 December, according to TMZ.com.
Sources tell the website that Aubry merely wants to protect his rights now he and Berry are no longer together.
The former couple has not filed for child custody, visitation or support and they don't plan to.
The 35 year-old met the Catwoman star on a photoshoot for Italian fashion house Versace. They split in April of last year.
Berry, 44 has previously stated that she would give up acting if it was at the best interest of her daughter.
