Harrison Ford's Son Thrilled By Wedding

Harrison Ford's eldest son isn't offended he missed his father's secret wedding to Calista Flockhart - he's called the elopement "terrific news".
 
The celebrity couple married on Tuesday (15Jun10) in a low-key ceremony presided over by New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson at the politician's mansion in Santa Fe. The only other guest in attendance was Flockhart's nine-year-old adopted son Liam.
 
But Ford's grown-up son Ben, the actor's eldest child from his first marriage to Mary Marquardt, is thrilled his dad has finally exchanged vows with his partner of eight years.
 
He tells People.com, "Those crazy kids went off and eloped! I think it is wonderful that they finally made it legit. It is really terrific news. I'm so happy for them."

And with the wedding Flockhart has officially beaten Cameron Diaz to Ford - the Charlie's Angels star grew up convinced she was going to marry Indiana Jones.

And the news of the weddinf is sure to upset Diaz, who has recently confessed the movie star was her childhood crush.
 
She tells Playboy magazine, "Raiders of the Lost Ark was a big thing for me. When I was nine, in my mind I was kissing Harrison Ford, and he was an amazing kisser.
 
"I was going to marry him. It's not a secret today. He knows. He's taken, so what can I do?"
