A new poll from the UK’s leading discount website has revealed the top ten most eligible celebrity bachelors, as voted by more than 1000 women across the UK. Topping the poll is One Direction’s Harry Styles, shortly followed by Prince Harry and Russell Brand.
New research from the UK’s leading discount website has revealed the top ten most eligible celebrity bachelors, in the eyes of the female British public. The research was conducted with 1,112 women across the UK, aged between 18 and 35 years old.
The study, conducted by www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, asked the respondents to select the celebrities that they believed to be the ‘most eligible bachelors’ from a list of possible celebrities; and were able to choose more than one bachelor as their favourite.
Harry Styles from boy band One Direction topped the poll with 73%; which was 4% more than Royal, Prince Harry, who came second on the list with 69%.
According to the poll, below are the ‘Top Ten Most Eligible Celebrity Bachelors’, as voted for by the female British public:
1. Harry Styles - 73%
2. Prince Harry - 69%
3. Russell Brand- 64%
4. Ashton Kutcher - 62%
5. Steve Jones - 57%
6. Bradley Cooper - 53%
7. Gerard Butler - 48%
8. Ryan Reynolds - 47%
9. Jude Law - 36%
10. Taylor Lautner - 32%
In order to discover why the respondents deemed the celebrities as eligible bachelors, the women who took part in the poll were asked what traits the above celebrities adopted that attracted them the most.
Almost one in five, 19%, of those who felt that Harry Styles was the most eligible celebrity bachelor said it was because of his ‘talent’, whilst more than a third, 34%, believed that Prince Harry was an eligible bachelor because of his ‘wealth’.
Similarly, 22% of the respondents who stated that Ashton Kutcher was an eligible celebrity bachelor said it was because he was ‘wealthy’.
Celebrity friends appeared to be an attractive trait amongst the respondents, with 18% saying this is why they believed Russell Brand was an eligible bachelor; whilst a further 16% gave the same reason for choosing Harry Styles.
