Heidi Montag has threatened estranged husband Spencer Pratt with legal action if he moves forward with plans to reveal all about their short-lived marriage in a memoir.
The Hills stars, who fell in love and wed on the hit MTV reality show in 2009, split earlier this year (10), with Montag filing for divorce in July (10).
Pratt has offered to blow the lid off their reality romance in a tell-all tome, including the truth behind his wife's shocking 2009 cosmetic overhaul, when she underwent 10 surgeries in a day.
He tells Us Weekly, "This one (book) is going to be totally different. I'm not holding anything back."
But Montag is not willing for the details of her private life to be put in print, and claims she is weighing up whether to take action against Pratt.
She tells TMZ.com, "This is exactly why I left him... Right now I'm looking into my legal options."
