Jane Fonda has become the latest victim of an online impostor and she's working with Twitter.com bosses to close the interloper's account.
The On Golden Pond actress has become a regular tweeter in recent years and recently announced plans to update fans about her upcoming theatre debut in Los Angeles via her favourite social networks.
But now Fonda is upset after discovering someone is pretending to be her on Twitter.com and she's asking followers not to believe anything the impostor writes.
In a tweet on Wednesday (05Jan11), the actress wrote, "There is an fake account out there @janefonda acting like me. We are working with @twitter to remove."
The discovery of her impostor comes on the same day Fonda's followers top 100,000.
