Jennifer Jason Leigh and her director husband Noah Baumbach are expecting their first child together, according to U.S. reports.
The couple, who wed in 2005, has been trying to start a family for more than a year.
A source tells the National Enquirer, "Having children is something they have wanted for some time. They are overjoyed with the news.
"Jennifer wanted to play it safe and not tell anyone until she was past the three-month mark. But now that she has reached that stage, she has been telling some of those close to her.
"Noah and Jennifer are so in love - and they're going to make great parents."
The baby is due in March (10).
In other celeb baby news it's congratulations to Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo who gave birth to a baby girl last week (15Sep09).
Little Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery is Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery's first child.
The couple, who wed in 2007, announced the baby news in April (09).
It's all baby talk on the set of the medical drama at the moment - Pompeo's co-star Katherine Heigl, who hosted the new mum's baby shower party, recently adopted a baby girl from Korea.
